Doggie Homemade Biscuits


  • ½ cup canola oil
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornmeal
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 2 large eggs 
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter

How to make

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease the cookie sheets.

Step 2: Combine cornmeal, all-purpose flour, whole-wheat flour, and oats in a mixing bowl. Fill a well in the center of the dry ingredients with water, oil, eggs, peanut butter, and vanilla extract and mix thoroughly.

Step 3: Roll out the dough on a flat surface with a rolling pin. Using a cookie cutter to cut the dough into dog biscuit shapes and place the biscuits on the cookie sheet that has been prepared.

Step 4: Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake the cookies for 20 minutes. Turn the oven off once the biscuits have cooked for 20 minutes, but leave the biscuits in the oven for another 20 minutes to solidify.

Grain-Free Dog Food


  • ¼ cup water
  • 2  peeled, cored and chopped apples
  • 3 pounds ground chicken
  • 3 tbsp sunflower seed oil
  • 4 peeled and chopped medium carrots
  • 4 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 ounces chopped chicken livers

How to make

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Step 2: In a pot, combine the carrots, apples, and water. Bring to a boil, cover, decrease the heat to low, and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until soft.

Step 3: In a mixing basin, crack eggs and whisk together; place eggshells on a baking sheet.

Step 4: Bake eggshells in a preheated oven for 5 to 7 minutes until dry.

Step 5: Take the eggshells out of the oven and crush them in a mortar and pestle or in a coffee grinder.

Step 6: In a large skillet, mix together the ground chicken, eggs, chicken livers, ground eggshells, and sunflower oil. Heat over medium heat, stirring periodically, for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the ground chicken is browned and crumbly and the livers are no longer pink.

Step 7: Add spinach on top of the meat mixture in the skillet and cover with a lid to steam for 5 minutes until tender.

Step 8: Using a potato masher to mash softened carrots and apples. Add to the meat mixture and combine well.

Homemade Dog Food with Beef


  • 1 pound assorted beef bones 
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 can drained sliced carrots 
  • 1 can drained spinach
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 4 cups brown rice
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 cups water

How to make

Step 1: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Cook and stir ground beef for 5 to 7 minutes in a heated skillet until browned and crumbly. Drain and dispose of the grease.

Step 2: In a stockpot, combine 6 cups of water and brown rice. Bring to a boil with the bones, browned beef, and rosemary. Reduce heat and cook, stirring periodically to prevent burning for 45 minutes until rice is mushy. Add a bit more water to keep the mixture from becoming porridge-like if needed.

Step 3: In an electric blender, combine the spinach, carrots, and eggs in their shells. Blend until the mixture is fully pureed and no eggshells remain.

Step 4: In a mixing dish, combine the pumpkin and the mixed egg mixture. Remove the meat mixture from the heat and pour the egg mixture into the saucepan, cooking the eggs for about 5 minutes in the hot contents. Allow 30 minutes for cooling before feeding to your dog.
